I just returned from SONAR
(Barcelona), and it must be said that Buraka Som Sistema was my favorite performance of the entire festival BY FAR. Mind blowing.
I'll write about the festival soon. But anyone who doubts these cats (as some kind of "kuduro light" or because they're Portugeuse or whatever), is sadly mistaken. Their live show was seriously off-the-fu@king-chain.
I caught them too, agreed it was amazing.
